Providence Project Manager, Managed Care Finance in Mission Hills, California

Providence is calling a Project Manager Managed Care Finance (Full time/Day shift) to our Providence Facey Medical Foundation in Mission Hills, CA.
We are seeking a Project Manager Managed Care Finance who will develop and manage projects, including HCC/RAF initiatives, software vendor communication and updates, resource allocation and management, process improvement workflows, operational efficiency initiatives, and others assigned by management. Report to Regional Director and Regional Manager of Managed Care Finance department. Work on ad-hoc and routine report scope definitions, creation and improvement initiatives.
In this position you will:

Act as a project management and process improvement resource to Regional Director and Regional Manager of Managed Care Finance
Manage and reports on all phases of department initiatives, including but not limited to:
HCC metrics and performance indicators, Coding and compliance
Patient outreach and reporting
Physician and team performance, Group support and analytics
Capitation reconciliation and metrics
Quality metrics and performance (P4P, Stars, HEDIS)
Financial performance and analysis
Organize and documents all phases of existing and new projects, while closely collaborating with internal and external resources.
Help document workflows for:
Software management and ongoing database development
Analytics and performance reporting
Cross-departmental projects and initiatives, as well as processes set by management
Participate in workshops, meetings and seminars to gain knowledge and expertise to perform functions better
Able to travel to all regional sites in a consistent, timely and efficient manner; holds effective meetings and leads workgroups, assigns and takes over deliverables, reports to and coordinates with the regional director and manager on the priorities and workload management; strives to exceed expectations
Required qualifications for this position include:
Must be six sigma green belt or above certified, with applicable and related experience in healthcare
3 years related experience in project management in healthcare field
Significant experience working at a strategic level in a mid to large size organization, preferably in Physician
Knowledge of business planning processes and tools, forecasting, scenario building techniques, knowledge of lean design principles and their implementation is required
Healthcare coding general knowledge is a plus
Superior organizational skills and ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects in support of enterprise-wide strategic initiatives and goals while delivering quality service
Creative problem identification, conceptualization, and contingency thinking skills are required
The ability to work well with individuals from a variety of disciplines with diverse levels of knowledge
Must exhibit strong process orientation, efficiency, collaboration, candor, and be results-oriented
Strong computer skills: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio, Project, MapPoint, Adobe
Effective presentation skills, strong critical thinking and analytical skills
Proactive commitment to advancing healthcare outcomes with a patient-first approach
Clear, well-developed oral and written communication skills
Ability to manage accelerated work pace with multiple deliverables
Ability to recognize and generate new or modified approaches that are results-oriented
Strategic business focus and understanding of how projects are tied to business goals and objectives
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Hospital or medical group experience
AF/HCC and Quality Measure experience
