Providence is calling a Program Coordinator Clinical Documentation Welcome Baby Program (Part time/Day shift) to Providence Holy Cross Medical Center in Mission Hills, CA.
We are seeking a Program Coordinator Clinical Documentation Welcome Baby Program who will assist the Program Manager with program implementation and evaluation activities related to ensuring delivery of quality services and achievement of program goals.
In this position you will:
Responsible for all of the data elements and reports for the Welcome Baby Program
Work closely with the Program Director and Clinical Supervisor to develop and assess programmatic goals and structure
Work closely with the Program Director and Welcome Baby RN to develop and implement systems for program management, monitoring, quality assurance and reporting of outcome measures
Trouble-shoot data system problems and barriers to accurate program evaluation on an on-going basis; and implement data quality assessment procedures to review data validity and implement quality assurance tools
Assist in the development and improvement of programmatic protocols to ensure the quality of service delivery, data collection and evaluation
Develop and implement systems for ongoing program management and assessment of outcomes
Provide feedback on successful program monitoring strategies to help achieve program goals and objectives
Work with the Oversight Entity and First 5 LA to ensure the accuracy of outcome measure reports
Implement quality assessment tools to ensure that all client data is entered in a timely manner by program staff and the data entry clerk
Assist with regular chart reviews to ensure the accurate collection and entry of data and adherence to program protocols
Develop and implement a quality improvement plan
Demonstrate an understanding of grant requirements and reporting deadlines
Assist Project Director the preparation of quarterly and year end program reports for First 5 LA
Attend partner meetings; Oversight Entity led meetings, department and other community meetings, as appropriate
Maintain confidentiality in all patient and hospital related information
Required qualifications for this position include:
Experience in managing computer databases /spreadsheets and graphics
Experienced with a variety of office equipment (e.g. copier, FAX, computer)
Computer literate with required knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Must be able to prioritize workload, be detailed oriented, accurate and have excellent follow–through
Must be able to analyze data for trending and variances
Must possess a professional attitude and demeanor when dealing with all levels of personnel, public, volunteers and hospital staff
Must be able to make presentations to medium size groups
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's Degree in Public Health, Biostatistics, Biometrics or Administration
Maternal/Child health experience
Research administration experience
